A Project List Holding Webpage for System Fundamentals

System Fundamentals is a development entity and primary domain operated by Simon Hobbs. The System Fundamentals name, domain (system-fundamentals.com), and logo are the exclusive property of Simon Hobbs. At this stage of development, System Fundamentals operates as a holding domain listing active projects.

QAE | Quintile Analysis Engine

QAE Project | Quintile Analysis Engine runs a 1-year behavior analysis engine at the daily interval. It operates with zero dependencies, processing only time and the provided data package.

QAE is a domain-agnostic inspection instrument that works like a calculator to transform calendar-based cardinal data tables into static ordinal visual geometry. In short, it is a “Pattern Intel” tool. The output is converted to a PDF artefact, a colorful report designed for rapid scanning of macro trends.

Note that QAE documentation will require and upgrade at some point.

Structural Dataset Correction → New Analytical Capability

CDCU delves deeper into NOAA’s US public temperature data. These are time-series climate datasets that use °F whole-degree integers, which create heavy clusters of duplicate values.

When applying quartile or quintile equal-frequency binning, these “ties” stack up and break distribution symmetry. Datasets undergo a pass/fail distribution test to measure their structural integrity, determining whether they can be considered for downstream ordinal ranking and spatial encoding.
